Our community newspaper used to be full of helpful information including events. It appears to continually have less and less local information other than paid advertisements and Board and Staff provided reporting.
In April, there was no promotion of the Easter Egg Hunt or Fishing Derby, both long-time events that are free and open to the public. It seems to fall under the Administration’s new opinion that those who devote their time, resources and energy to bringing good into this community are self-serving and do not deserve to have their events mentioned.
Of note, however, were several events in Ferndale, Bellingham and Lynden that had no relevance to Sudden Valley.
